The Secondary Education faculty will be having a special summer Selective Admission. This is for students who are eligible for advanced study (have the Praxis completed, 2.75 overall GPA, and required coursework completed or in-progress in the summer) and are ready to begin their final four semesters in Fall 2008 and student teach/graduate in Spring 2010.

The essay and interview will take place on the same day so students must be available all day Friday. The essay will begin at 10am and is an hour in length, followed by a short break, and interviews to commence shortly thereafter. Please come with a writing utensil (paper will be provided).
REMINDER:
So we can have an accurate count of how many students will be participating, students must apply for Advanced Study online through the Vacca Office of Student Services website (www.ehhs.kent.edu/oss <http://www.ehhs.kent.edu/oss> ) by June 1st. At that time, all passing scores for the Praxis I must be on file (no exceptions!).
The required 2 letters of recommendation are to be brought by the student to the interview. Information about the letters of recommendation, as well as the forms, can be found at the following website.
