Program Description/ course requirments:
If you are interested in working in a school library/media center but you do not have either a teaching license or a masters degree yet, this program is for you. At the end of the program you will have your initial license, allowing you to work with children in the schools as well as a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology and the Library/Media endorsement to your license. The total program is 58 credit hours.
If you already have a teaching license but no masters degree yet, then this program is for you. Completing it will give you a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology plus the Library/Media endorsement to your license. It requires 42 credit hours.
If you already have BOTH a masters degree (in Education or Library Science) AND your teaching license, then you may want to just add the Library/Media endorsement, without earning another masters degree. If so, then this program allows you to do that by completing 26 credit hours of coursework.
