Adjunct Clinical Professor status is a title conferred on individuals in recognition of their contribution to field-based training (practica and internship) of students pursuing advanced study in school psychology.

The primary functions of Adjunct Clinical Professors include field supervision during practicum and internship, involvement in doctoral seminars and other on-campus training forums, and program advisement concerning accreditation activities. Adjunct Clinical Professor appointment is for a three-year term.

The following individuals have been recognized as Adjunct Clinical Professors for the Graduate Program in School Psychology for the period of 2006-2009:

Dr. Shawn Sullivan

Director, Neuropsychology Service, NeuroDevelopmental Center,
Akron Children’s Hospital

Dr. Shawn Sullivan is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Director of the Neuropsychology Service and the Concussion Management Program at Akron Children’s Hospital. He is the Assistant Director of the Traumatic Brain Injury Program at Akron Children's. Dr. Sullivan received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. He completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neuropsychology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Cleveland Clinic. He has worked at Akron Children's Hospital since 2003.

Dr. Ethan Benore

Pediatric Psychologist, NeuroDevelopmental Center,
Akron Children’s Hospital

Dr. Ethan Benore received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. He completed an internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute-Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a fellowship at The Children's Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is currently a Pediatric Psychologist at Akron Children's Hospital NeuroDevelopmental Center. His clinical focus is headache, sleep, rehabilitation, and stress-related conditions. He has nine professional publications and is a member of the Society of Pediatric Psychology. He is currently the Psychology Fellowship Director at Akron Children's Hospital.

Dr. Thomas Webb

Director, Psychological Services
Summit County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division

Thomas Webb, Ph.D. is the Director, Psychological Services, Ohio VI Circuit Court, Summit County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division. He is the Former Chief Psychologist, Division of Pediatric Psychiatry, Children's Hospital Medical Center (Akron), a regional center serving North-Eastern Ohio. Dr Webb is also the author of the Structured Pediatric Psychosocial Interview. His expertise includes forensic psychology, prevention initiatives incorporating family-contracts and the delivery of services to troubled youth.

Dr. Richard Montagnese

Supervisor of Psychology Services,
Trumbull County Educational Service Center

Dr. Richard Montagnese earned his Ph.D. in school psychology from Kent State University. For the past twenty years, he has served as a Supervisor of Psychology Services at the Trumbull County Education Service Center. Dr. Montagnese also has experience as a director of special services, school safety consultant, and a school psychologist. He has five professional publications on issues such as school violence and attention difficulties.

Dr. Robin Tener

Clinical Psychologist and Director,
Northeast Ohio Behavioral Health, Ltd.

Dr. Robin Tener, Clinical Psychologist and Director of Northeast Ohio Behavioral Health, Ltd., earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit. Dr. Tener's previous experience includes clinical psychology practice and supervision in residential and outpatient treatment settings. She has given over 80 local and national presentations on a variety of topics including stress and sexual abuse. Dr. Tener has received several awards for her professional service and is a member of numerous professional organizations.

Dr. Steven Rosenberg

President,
PSI Associates, Inc. and PSI Affiliates, Inc.

Dr. Steven Rosenberg received his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Kent State University. Prior to his current position as President of PSI Associates and PSI Affiliates, Inc., Dr. Rosenberg's professional experience included teaching, consulting, and providing psychological services. He has given over 30 presentations and has published 14 scholarly works. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of several professional organizations.

Dr. Michelle DePolo

Pediatric Clinical Psychologist,
KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center

Dr. Michelle DePolo received her Psy.D. in Psychology from Wright State University. She is currently a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist at the KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center in Twinsburg, OH. Previously, Dr. DePolo worked as a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist at Akron Children's Hospital NeuroDevelopmental Center. Prior to Dr. DePolo's work at ACH, she worked as a Pediatric Psychology Fellow and a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism. She has six professional publications and over 40 presentations on a variety of mental health topics. She is a member of several professional organizations and has received several scholarships and awards. Dr. Depolo was recently appointed as an advisory board member to the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence.

Dr. Meghan Shelby

Consultant ,
State Support Team 3

Dr. Meghan Shelby received her Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of South Carolina. In her current position as a consultant for the State Support Team 3, Dr. Shelby provides professional development and technical assistance to school personnel and families on special education issues and developing systematic prevention and intervention services to improve performance of all learners. Her prior experience includes serving as a school psychologist and a part-time university instructor. Dr. Shelby has given several presentations, authored a publication, and is a member of several professional organizations.
